Smolka Scholarship recipients reflect the team culture. In addition to the academic requirements, the team expectations are:

• Attendance at all training sessions and games unless excused by the Coach.

• Competition in each season that you are enrolled and living in Columbia.

• Serving on a working committee.

• Volunteering for Rent-A-Rugger and other club initiatives.

• Volunteering during With You Weekend.

• Assisting with recruiting when called upon.

• Encouragement and advocacy for USC rugby philanthropy.

• Becoming a monthly donor after graduation for our With You campaign.
