Funds raised through “Rent-A-Rugger” supporte our team expenses including travel and apparel.  


Here’s how it works:

For a minimum donation of $115 you can have a rugger work up to five hours (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) at your Columbia area home or property. We’ll do all sorts of odd jobs: clearing leaves or property, painting, yardwork, and furniture moving, etc. We will not operate heavy equipment or climb tall ladders.

 

We set aside several weekends during the fall and spring as Rent-A-Rugger weekends. Check out our schedule before signing up for workers. 

If you have a big job, request more than two ruggers. You play the role of foreperson and we’ll “tackle” your project. Your payment to the rugby club can be directed to the South Carolina Men’s Rugby Club Endowment. The team conducts this program during select Saturdays in the fall and spring. 

Our club is composed of more than 65 dedicated student athletes.
